Jazztopia, a jazz band with 2 recorded albuns and over 10 years of experience, presents a mature repertoire with Jazz Masters that are still very popular and pleasing not only for the oldest jazz lovers but also to a youth increasingly interested in the genre .
The jazz band already has 2 discs released, the first with songs that can outline the curves originating from the American Jazz, starting from the beginning of the last century with a sensual and elegant footprint of Ragtime dances (as Jazz was called by blacks before (Leo Robin & Julie Styne), Thelonious Monk (Round Midnight), Lalo Shifrin & Rick Ward (The Cat) and others. Already the second album, expresses the interest that the band has for Latin music. With special participation of Mariúza in the vocals the disc has songs of Consuelo Velásques (Besame Mucho), Alberto Domingues (Perfidia), Tom Jobim (Sad), Oswaldo Forrés (Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps?) Among other American Jazz Masters, Jazztopia does a ride between these two worlds at their shows.
